This series with it´s collected media looks at the aesthetic contrast of the gloss of manufacture and the raw untouched substance of nature.  The paradox of globalization is that the diversity of human existence is illuminated, as we come closer together as a planet of people,  the growing chasm between the rich and poor grows.  The sacred golden idols of worship and the gold mining capitalist expansion act equally as the governing forces of the planet, this revealing the ambivalence of the divine.  The luxury of survival differs from one individual to the next.
